Am I Hungry® Workshops
Am I Hungry?® is a comprehensive non-diet approach to weight management. You’ll learn mindful and intuitive eating techniques that empower you to use your natural ability to eat just the right amount of food while meeting your needs for nourishment and enjoyment.
Am I Hungry?® Mindful Eating Workshops combine the benefits of this innovative approach with the interaction, motivation and support of a group.
You’ll learn how to:
- be in charge of your eating instead of feeling out of control
- eat the foods you love without overeating or guilt
- end mindless and emotional eating
- increase your metabolism
- eat healthier without depriving yourself
Jennifer Armstrong is a licensed facilitator of Am I Hungry?®. Workshops are held in Orange County, California, or via telephone. Individual coaching using this process is also available.

Am I Hungry?® Mindful Eating Workshop was developed by Dr. Michelle May, a family physician and former yo-yo dieter. This program is the basis for Dr. May’s award-winning book, Eat What You Love, Love What You Eat, which Time.com recently named as one of the 10 best diet books. Interestingly enough, Am I Hungry is not a diet or food plan. Actually, it works with any plan or no plan at all because it puts the right person in charge of what you eat: YOU!
Join Jennifer Armstrong, an Am I Hungry?® Licensed Facilitator and Certified Martha Beck Life Coach, for this comprehensive workshop. You will receive the following support and material with your registration:
- Eight, 90-minute, group workshops offered via the telephone on either Wednesdays (1/4/12 through 2/22/12) from 7 PM – 8 PM PST or Saturdays (1/7/12 through 2/25/12) from 7:00 am to 8:30 am PST, with recordings distributed after each class;
- A hardcover edition of Eat What You Love, Love What You Eat;
- A soft cover workbook to enhance the workshop experience;
- An exclusive, online forum on the Am I Hungry?® website, which includes an online virtual coach;
- Email support from Am I Hungry?® Licensed Facilitator and Martha Beck Certified Life Coach, Jennifer Armstrong;
- Daily Mindful Moments via email throughout the workshop’s entirety; and
- Weekly summaries of key points.
